BioPure’s Commitment to Quality
BioPure’s goal is to create an unparalleled culture of authenticity in the raw materials and processes that go into creating nutritional supplements. Our product line may grow and evolve, but our paramount concerns are unchanging—we strive to provide you with nutritional supplements that are potent, pure, biologically vital and effective.
We go to great lengths to find sources that we feel confident will meet the needs and high standards of our Health Care Practitioners. Whenever possible, we use organically sourced ingredients and formulas that are free of unnecessary binding agents, fillers and other excipients. We carefully choose the appropriate manufacturing process for each product that will yield and preserve the maximum potency and natural, beneficial healing properties possible from our raw ingredients.
Our products are manufactured, held, tested and distributed with product quality and safety at the forefront of our processes. Through formulating products with expert panels of Health Care Practitioners around the world and cultivating a culture of quality integration here in our Redmond, Washington facility, BioPure’s main goal is to provide superior nutritional products to our customers.
Too many big companies see ethics as situational—right and wrong are determined by the bottom line and not by the health and well-being of the consumer. At BioPure, we put the needs of our Health Care Practitioners and the consumer before our need for profits.
The quality and purity of the raw ingredients we use form the basis for our high-quality nutritional supplements. Wherever possible, our ingredients are certified non-GMO, organic and free from synthetic or unnecessary additives. All of our growers are herbicide- and pesticide-free.
Our suppliers place a high priority on the nontoxicity and biodegradability of their products. Many are actively involved in the movement for sustainably sourced ingredients and maintain certifications with organizations such as RSPO, Sedex, Ecosocial, the Union for Ethical Bio-Trade, Ecocert and REACH.
Until recently, virtually all vitamins and minerals used in nutritional supplements were produced using complex chemical processes that often left traces of harmful ingredients in the finished product. Our nutritional supplements are manufactured using leading-edge processes that extract the naturally occurring micronutrients from plants without leaving harmful residues behind. We manufacture in food-grade facilities to ensure our products maintain the highest standards in terms of cleanliness, purity and quality.
In addition, we use a number of other practices to ensure purity, safety and maximum efficacy:
- Real-time sourcing
- Flash freezing for 100% phytonutrient potency
- Advanced sublimation technology (freeze drying)
- No irradiation or EtO (ethylene oxide)
- GMP- and HACCP-compliant encapsulation facilities
All of our products are diligently tested according to FDA guidelines and certified with a COA (Certificate of Analysis). Many of our vendors run laboratory tests such as DNA certification, Essential Run Tests on pesticides and herbicides, and a mass spectrometry to identify possible adulterants. Our bottlers test for physical qualities such as the color or odor of a raw ingredient and run selective-sample assay tests congruent with batch numbers as an additional safety measure to ensure quality and consistency.
Lastly, a panel of national and European naturopathic and medical physicians runs comparative “double-blind” Energetic Testing (also known as Autonomic Response Testing) on all of our products. Our test kits are updated regularly and available to the growing number of Health Care Practitioners using this type of prognostic tool to support their treatment plans.
At BioPure, we are committed to the environment. Our products are packaged in post-consumer recycled bottles wherever possible. In addition, we strive to use only packaging materials that are 100% recycled, 100% recyclable and BPA free, and use Earth First labels made from corn instead of petroleum. Our products are packed in a way that eliminates extended exposure to heat or UV radiation to limit the impact of these on product quality during shipping.
For your safety, we no longer use cotton as filler in our bottles. We believe this reduces your potential risk of exposure to residual toxins from pesticides and other chemicals used during the cotton growth and manufacturing process [Env Justice Found 2007]. In addition, cotton can absorb moisture, resulting in damage to pills and loss of potency [drugstore.com].
Our passion for taking care of our community and our planet shows in the practices we use throughout every stage of production, from our growers to your door. Whenever possible, we:
- Source fresh, raw ingredients from farmers and suppliers who use only organic, sustainable farming or wild-crafting methods.
- Rely on nontoxic, 100% biodegradable materials.
- Use natural extraction processes that do not leave harmful residues behind.
- Use 100% recyclable containers and recycled packaging materials.
- Use 100% biodegradable labels made from corn instead of petroleum.
We’re proud to be able to offer you therapeutic, food-grade nutritional supplements that we hope empower you to make holistic, informed, proactive decisions about your health and your well-being. We strive to uphold our standards every step of the way—from harvest through packaging, shipping and delivery.
While we try to have products in stock, some will occasionally go into backorder. We purposefully keep our inventory low to ensure maximum freshness. Our ingredient sources are subject to unpredictable weather, which can impact botanical peak harvest times and the subsequent delivery of our raw ingredients. In addition, our stringent quality assurance standards compel us to reject some raw ingredients due to contamination or poor and compromised product quality.
